2019 SWCB-DPRI Workshop rounded off with abundant technology sharing!

Soil and Water Conservation Bureau (SWCB) held 2019 SWCB-DPRI Workshop on 31th, January. Members of SWCB and experts from Japan and Taiwan, such as Prof. Masaharu FUJITA from Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI) of Kyoto University, Dr. Kuniaki MIYAMOTO from University of Tsukuba, and Prof. Chjeng-Lun Shieh from Disaster Prevention Research Center of National Cheng Kung University, joined and discussed issues about sediment-related disaster prevention. Research and Technology Development Team (RTDT) of SWCB not only shared research results about numerical simulation of sediment-related disaster, but also introduced the related applications of BigGIS (https://gis.swcb.gov.tw). Experts from Taiwan and Japan both highly affirmed the research results and information integration capabilities of SWCB.
